The FTSE 100 index opened 0.26% higher on Monday. The DAX index showed a rise of 0.53% and a decrease of 0.29%. Stocks rose due to optimism about Iran diplomacy, but the FTSE 100 slipped to 14,160 amid a Bank of England decision. In October, a FTSE 100 stock experienced a 29% drop.
