Users worldwide report problems with Instagram including login failures and timed-out content. Downdetector data shows a sudden rise in outage reports now noted. All the app and website appear non-functional concurrently. Meta has yet to release a statement about these issues as of 22 July 2026. Reports matching have been noted across its parent platform, Messenger and Instagram at the same time.
