In Piddington village, residents held a referendum and chose to leave the UK over an asylum centre. Lisa Nandy responded to the vote. She stated the government will listen to the residents and take their views on board.

The government announced new 42 Young Futures Hubs across England. These hubs support young people with life's challenges and provide support. Four hubs will be in Greater Manchester, after a pilot scheme locally. New hubs are expected for Lancashire, Blackpool, and the North East under the expansion plan.
