Jasper Philipsen claimed Stage 17 of the 2026 Tour de France in a sprint finish. It was his first victory at this year's race. The stage finished with a duel between Philipsen and Mads Pedersen. Philipsen described the ride extremely tough. The UCI upheld late-night doping tests carried out after the stage in response to concerns raised after the finish. Lidl-Trek beat UAE Team Emirates in the team classification. Jordan Jegat stayed less prominent in the general standings. EF Pro Cycling gave a statement on the stage's outcome.
