Patchy storms are forming across Central Texas on Thursday, Aug. 27. Parts of the Austin area may get some rain. KXAN and FOX 7 Austin both noted the chance of wet weather. The storms are scattered and could send showers to any local area.
Later Thursday night, skies might clear enough for residents to view a lunar eclipse. The blood moon will be on display if conditions cooperate. The eclipse is expected to happen after the storms. Residents who plan to watch it should look for clearing skies. The weather and the eclipse are both sharing one night.
