London police discovered a tiny marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff spotted the lost animal on July 18. The animal was nervous and had no food while shivering. It withstood the traumatic ordeal. Animal advocates described it an illegal abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers identified a newly described monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery came during a routine survey in the Congo Basin.
