The San Jose Sharks last faced the Boston Bruins. A young attacker Ivar Stenberg scored his first career NHL goal in the game. The goal came against goalie Jeremy Swayman. The team is now preparing for its annual Hockey Fights Cancer night. The event is scheduled on mid-November. It centers on cancer awareness and support for those affected. This program is a segment of a league wide effort for the upcoming season.
